Rock, Paper Scissors Art Show & Eagle Photography Contest Saturday 10am-5pm Stiles eagle
The Arlington-Stillaguamish Eagle Festival announces the annual Eagle Photo Contest and Art Show presented by the Arlington Arts Council and the City of Arlington.
Art Show Saturday, 10am-5pm at Magnolia Hall 225 E. Third Street, Downtown Arlington. Live musical entertainment throughout the art show- Paul Nyenhuis 2:30-4:30pm.
Textile artists will demonstrate spinning wheels, quilting, thread painting on fabric and fabric basket weaving. Displays will include dyed and painted silk scarves, Australian loop hooping, unique mixed media dolls by Dollirious Cloth Doll Club and much more.
Marysville Rock and Gem Club will present a large rock and gem display. They will also demonstrate beading, faceting and knife knapping.
Photos submitted for the photo contest will be featured in the art show. Along with a cash prize, the winning eagle photo may be displayed on the City’s website, featured in the City newsletter, and may be used in other ways to promote the City and future Eagle Festivals.
